Today is February 3rd, 2023.
It's a very special day for me, as today is my son's birthday - he goes by Veechiboy. He's the most amazing 8 year old any father could hope for. More on him later.
But today, February 3rd, 2023 is another birthday. Today is the birthday for OEMDocs and our amazing new system called TIPS!
What is TIPS?
TIPS is an acronym for Technical Information Portal Service. It's the newest parts catalog creation software on the market, and it also serves as a technical portal for OEMs to aggregate and efficiently disseminate all of their technical documentation, in one single place.
Over the past 3 years, we've worked diligently to create the world's newest, and dare I say best, parts catalog authoring suite.
Here's an example of what TIPS can create:
Use the controls at the bottom to pause or peruse through the book!
Why is TIPS the best parts catalog authoring suite?
TIPS has features that I believe no other parts catalog or technical information portal solution has.
TIPS has the ability to automagically generate TOCs and hotpoints, and automatically link them together. While this is world class, there may be other systems with something similar.
However - the process of automatically generating TOCs only occurs when previously existing assemblies are re-used. What happens when a new machine only has a small amount of re-use, and requires 50% or even 100% of new assemblies?
enter... V-Tech Smart Assist!
We've utilized smart engineering and intelligent architecture to create every publisher's best friend: The V-Tech Smart Assistant!
V-Tech Smart Assist is a wizard/feature that predicts.. yes, predicts, with 100% accuracy, precisely which assemblies need to be built to construct a book, and it does this, without the assembly pre-existing.
And - the assemblies are created with a single click.
This means complicated equipment or machines that require over a hundred assemblies, can accurately be built, literally within minutes.
Oh yeah - and everything in TIPS is drag'n'drop.
What Now?
I am very pleased with TIPS. I am excited to release it to the world, and look forward to a bright future working with OEMs and companies of all sizes, and helping them implement the latest and greatest in parts catalog technology!
And back to my son. He's only 8 as of today, but he's super tech savvy, and even played a significant role in the development of TIPS. Throughout the development process, I would show Veechiboy the latest features, and often times he would test them out and expose errors or issues, or use cases we had not previously thought of. He's only 8, but he already makes for an amazing Quality Assurance Engineer!
